22 April 1968

Today has been my 38th birthday.

I bought a circular saw from B&Q.

I will use it to help make a 100 megapixel digital camera.

I also bought some solar-powered lamps.

Apparently they will work in the dark.

This will be impressive. But after five snaps, your hard drive will be full 🙂

    The camera of doom…

    Happy birthday!

100mp camera… this should be interesting. Put down the ale, though…

I wish I could remember that, it’s only 2 days after my mums after all! 🙂

Happy birthday, Alec!!! Will you publish the camera specs? I guess, they need to be viewed through wood lenses you could produce with this saw. These lenses would be the best complement to the camera matrix. 😉

    Hi Alexander!

If the camera works, I shall certainly blog it, be assured! 😎

    Happy Birthday!

Turns out you’re between me and the missus in age apparently. I’ll be 38 in January. Strange observation I suppose, but that’s what sprung into my mind when you mentioned your age.

As for the 100MP camera, the only reason I can think of for having such a thing is because you want to take my picture from orbit. You are a scary freak.

    Many happy returns, dude.

Birthday sandwiched between Her Majesty’s and St George’s Day – not bad :-).

You’d think that with all those Palm handhelds, networked calendar systems and other digital timekeeping tools we’d be able to send you birthday wishes in time…

(I know the reminder it’s your birthday will be waiting in my Inbox when I log-on at the office tomorrow morning…)
