Isn’t it funny that people will always try and point at one specific instance of any given problem – something visual, something dramatic – and declare it in a strawman style to be the “the big problem!!!” in the hope that they can ban it and be seen to be protecting us from the big big bugaboo du jour.

Isn’t it amusing how often this solution-by-proxy technique is deployed in order to be seen to be seen defending against concepts, information, and other intangibles?
