As ever we observe people putting technology to novel use by leveraging aspects of its implementation (not design, merely implementation) in ways that other parts of civil society — not to mention the journalistic fourth estate — otherwise describe as challenging or problematic:

    Something like this happened when Microsoft promoted their “AI” (years ago) on Twitter.

    GIGO!

    Fundamentally, even HAL 9000 needed a human overseer.
