@alecm @prufrax In @pluralistic’s enshittification dynamic, social-media silos death-spiral when users realise that their feeds are mostly junk and disengage, further reducing the ratio of content. A shrewd silo operator of above average ethical flexibility could extend their lifespan by training LLMs on individual users’ content, adding a feature that automatically posts simulated updates for users who have been inactive (that can be disabled by an obscure setting that changes every few weeks)
