A long time ago I used to be a teenage birder & Worcestershire county twitcher, including 2x, perhaps 3x, 24-hour birdwatches; I’d like to get out more and parenthood offers that opportunity to dust off the 8×32 Trinovids and stomp around in the rain some more.

As such, finding that the BTO are producing helpful refreshers like this, is very welcome; and their BirdTrack reporting app is a godsend rather than phoning round people like Steve Whitehouse begging for tips.
